🔑 Arriving & the door

• Enter your personal code on the Schlage keypad on the front door.
• To lock from inside, turn the thumb turn. From outside, press the lock icon on the keypad.
• A doorbell camera and a camera facing the driveway cover the exterior only.

🌡️ Heat

• Every room has its own mini-split; use the remote in that room to control the heat.
• The wall thermostats are locked — please leave them alone.
• Please keep windows closed in winter.

♨️ Hot tub

• The hot tub is on the back patio.
• Serviced before every stay.
• Keep it between 100°F and 104°F.
• Replace and latch the cover after every use — it keeps the water clean and warm.
• No glass in or around the tub; use the plastic drinkware provided.
• Shower before getting in, and keep pets out.
• NEED UPDATE hot tub controls and how to open the cover.
• Safety: don’t use the hot tub after drinking or using drugs.
• Young children should not use the hot tub.
• If you’re pregnant or have health concerns, check with a doctor before using it.

🔥 Fireplace

• Wood-burning stone fireplace.
• Firewood is on the front porch.
• NEED UPDATE how to open the flue.
• Confirm the flue is open before lighting.
• Never leave a fire unattended, and make sure it is fully out before bed or before you leave.

🎱 Game room

• Pool table, foosball and a beer fridge.
• Please keep drinks off the pool table felt.

🚌 Getting around

• Free weekend and holiday ski-season shuttle: the Red Line (North Brookwood Road) picks up at the foot of the driveway. Shuttle timetable.
• EV charger in the garage with a Tesla plug. If your car needs something else, bring your own adapter.
• One-car garage.

⛷️ Skiing & Stratton

• Ski and snowboard rentals delivered to the house: Ski Butlers.

🧳 What we provide & what to bring

• We provide: bath and hand towels, small towels for the hot tub, bed linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion, laundry detergent, a hair dryer, toilet paper and tissues.
• The kitchen has plates, cups, glasses, silverware, pots, pans and basic baking tools. The coffee maker takes K-cups or brews a pot.
• Bring: food, coffee, drinks and condiments; personal toiletries; sandals or a robe for the hot tub; chargers; and logins for your streaming apps.
• Want bigger towels for the hot tub, or heading to a swimming hole in summer? Bring beach towels.

❄️ Snow & plowing

• After fresh snow, the driveway is plowed and sanded and the entrance is shoveled.
• In a big storm, please be patient — our crews get there as soon as they can.
• Need more plowing, shoveling or sanding after a storm? Text 42 North.

🛏️ Beds & layout

• Primary suite: king bed.
• Queen bedroom with its own bath.
• Queen bedroom that shares a bath with the bunk room.
• Bunk room: twin-over-full bunk.
• Also: game room, mudroom and a wood-burning stone fireplace.

🗑️ Trash

• All trash and recycling goes in the bins in the garage. Don’t leave bags outside — bears are around.
• Trash is picked up between guests.

🐕 Dogs

• Up to 2 dogs, only on bookings that include them; the pet fee is $50 per dog per night.
• Dogs off furniture and beds, please, and never left alone in the house uncrated.
• Pick up after your dog and bag it into the trash in the garage.

📋 House rules

• Maximum 8 guests; no parties or events.
• No smoking or vaping anywhere inside.
• Quiet hours 10 pm – 8 am.
• Please leave skis, boards and other sports gear in the garage.
• The owners’ closet is private — please leave it closed.
• Minimum renter age 25.

👋 Check-out

• Bag all trash and take it to the bins in the garage.
• Leave used towels on the bathroom floor; sheets can stay on the beds.
• Load and start the dishwasher.
• Lights off, doors and windows closed, hot tub cover latched.
• Lock the front door: press the lock icon on the keypad.
